Luisa Rabbia is an Italian artist born in Turin in 1970. She studied at Liceo Artistico Primo and at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Torino, Italy. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Rabbia's work is deeply rooted in drawing and explores individual, social, and mystical themes. Her practice is fixed in the dialectic between humanity and nature, operating on a macro and micro level. Rabbia's works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in galleries and museums, including the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Peter Blum Gallery, and the Galleria Anna Marra.
